A few things to know before you start hosting.
How much does Wendevo cost?
There are no setup or monthly subscription fees for standard event ticketing. Wendevo's standard commission on paid tickets is 5%, plus applicable payment processing fees. You can choose whether checkout fees are passed to buyers or covered by you. Promotional commission waivers may apply to eligible organizers.
When will I receive my ticket revenue?
Ticket money for each event is held by Wendevo until the event is over, so buyers can be refunded if plans change. For new organizers, the payout is checked by our team and sent 48 hours after the event ends, once no refunds are open. After 3 successful payouts, payouts are sent automatically, 12 hours after each event.
Can individuals host events?
Yes. Verified individuals can start hosting without registering a business. Registered businesses can also host, following identity verification, business registration checks and approval. Individual hosts may have additional ticket sales limits.
Can I create free events?
Yes. You can host free RSVP events or offer free tickets with QR codes to manage entry. Free events are not subject to Wendevo's paid-ticket commission.
How do refunds work?
Organizers can choose from Wendevo's supported refund policies, including refunds up to 24 hours before an event or non-refundable tickets. Event cancellations and other eligible refunds are handled according to Wendevo's refund rules.
Do my guests need a Wendevo account?
No. Guests can purchase free or paid tickets on the website without creating an account. The Wendevo mobile app offers additional event discovery and social features.
How do I check guests in?
You can use Wendevo's QR ticket scanner on a supported phone. Your team can check guests in without purchasing dedicated scanning hardware.
